Ding Sheng still remembered this Holy Order. As everything was told from Dishang Huai's perspective in the original story, this Holy Order of Sanduas didn't even appear until five years later when Dishang Huai returned to the Olay Empire.
In the book, Kris did indeed join this powerful faction and made a great name for herself there. After her love for Dishang Huai turned to hate, she even instigated members of the order to help her go after Dishang Huai.
Ding Sheng vaguely recalled that the book mentioned a major cannon fodder—the grandson of the Holy Order's chairman. The protagonist then proceeded to annihilate the Holy Order of Sanduas.
Kris, who was still scheming despite losing the protection of both the Holy Order and the Olay Empire, was eventually frozen beneath the ice lake by Dishang Huai. Having settled old scores, Dishang Huai then broke through the final barrier, ascended to become a Magus Saint, and embarked on his journey to conquer the world.
When Ding Sheng read this part, he couldn't help but roast the old man, thinking to himself: You old fool, you really dared to provoke the protagonist! Do you know how much plot the main character covered in those past five years? Nearly one-third of them!
As a seasoned reader, even if the author has not finished writing, Ding Sheng could easily guess the outline of "Other World Royal Odyssey". The introduction plus the conquest of Bifa Continent would take up one-third of the story; the conquest of the entire world would occupy another third; and the exploration of the mystery behind the sealed Demon God bloodline, along with avenging the ancient ancestor and overthrowing the rule across different realms of gods, demons, and mortals, would take up the final third. Once the protagonist becomes the sole ruler of eternity, the story could be wrapped up.
Dishang Huai came to visit him, sitting by his bed, to read him a textbook on ice magic.
Ding Sheng, who had been a little flustered due to the library incident, instantly calmed down. From a young man's perspective, if he liked someone, there was no way he’d go to their house just to read a textbook.
Dishang Huai had heard about the curse on Kris but even after scouring the library of Jingde Academy and the ancient, secret archives of the Dishang family, there was nothing he could do about it. It was the first time he felt so powerless.
His little princess was sitting right across from him, so docile and quiet, but his beautiful and delicate face was unnaturally pale. His violet eyes looked so fragile, as if they might shatter at the slightest touch.
Dishang Huai couldn’t resist reaching out to stroke his soft, chestnut curls.
When Dishang Huai was halfway through reading the textbook, Stuart came in and called them to the grand hall to discuss sending the princess to the Holy Order of Sanduas to study. He called it a discussion, but since it was a matter of life and death, there wasn’t much room for debate.
Ding Sheng didn’t particularly care whether he went to the Holy Order or not, but what he couldn’t tolerate was that meddling old man trying to force him to break off his engagement with Dishang Huai.
Look here old chap, considering that we're both part of the "wrecked by the protagonist" camp in the original story, I really want to ask you, do you have any idea how hard I’ve worked to keep my engagement to the protagonist intact?
