Issa me, lilies! XD
Am kinda a translator of JP and CN novels (⊙v⊙). CN is my native language while my JP is self-taught so I translate with more help from MTL. For CN, I was a paid translator (CN-ENG) for a bit. And apparently, I took the HSK Proficiency Test at Level V ha ha ha
Why is this blog called liliesareflowers, it doesn't even have anything to do with translation… The answer is simply because I was trying to think of the dumbest thing I could find that's not really related to anything in my real life and here we have it *Ta-da* a dumb af name ;) I actually really regret it now and I wanna change to something tangyuan related (my new recent obsession) but I'm too far into this blog and too lazy to do the whole progress deleting and migrating to another blog urghhhhh
Another reason is that lilies is yuri ;) in jap and my lame ass thought it was hilarious that a yuri likes and translates yaoi kek (ര௰ര)
Some disclaimers: this is a one-man party (you can prolly tell from the quality lol) I do not guarantee the accuracy of my translations. I do not have an editor/tlc so if you spot any mistakes in my translations feel free to comment or inform me on Discord, and I will make the correction as soon as possible.
I do this in my free time for the love of the books that I read and also for my friends who can't/refuse to read the books if it's not in English -.- And now it's also for all you lovely readers that decided to stop by and give my translations some of your time.
About Retranslations
Other than the ones who have contacted me about re-translating my translations (S.C.I.) into another language (French and Spanish) and I have given you my permission, from now on, my answer with regards to translating my translations to another language is a firm no.
The reason is simple, some meaning is already lost when translating from JP/CN to ENG and any form of double translation will inevitably cause it to stray even further from the author's original work. Not to mention the fact that there may be mistranslations on my part, especially for JP since it is a third language that I am still learning. If your wish is to spread the novel in your language, it's better for you to use the original raws and translate from there.
About picking up novels on this blog
I think I might have said this before in one of my earlier announcements, any novel I’m translating on this blog is up for grabs (3 months or not) and you don't have to contact me about it. After all, I do not own the rights to dictate who can translate or prevent anyone from doing so, that belongs to the respective copyright holders.
So yeh, I just wanted to make it clear. Because when I say “sporadic” updates, if you look at the dates of some of the chapters that were updated, you’ll see that there are literal months between the updates. And I just want to make it clear that I’m not hogging(?) these novels to myself or abusing this 3-month (NUF only pickup) rule (which is really 1 month on NU).
EDIT: It's none of my business whether your releases are accepted or rejected by NU (*´_ゝ｀)
