I've decided to open up commissions!!
You can commission me to translate anything you want from a Chinese source. I won't be opening commissions for Japanese works as I do not think my grasp of Japanese is good enough for that. You should be able to provide me with the material you wish for me to translate. It can be something personal (like a letter to your penpal for e.g.) or if I have to purchase it from somewhere, the cost will be added to the price of your commission.
Commissioned works will not be posted on my blog and will only be for your reading. As such, the projects that I'm currently translating here on this blog will not be up for commission.

My Rates
My rates go at USD12/1000 Chinese characters. Given that the number of characters per chapter for Chinese web novels averages at about 3000-4000, the deadline would be 1 week, starting from the day I accept the commission. The deadline may be longer if the chapter is long (~5000-6000) or if you are commissioning me to do multiple chapters. However, I may send the chapter back to you earlier if I'm done with it before the deadline. If you wish to set the deadline before that, or you need the translations asap, it is negotiable but please note that the price would naturally be higher.
Process of Commission
You can send me a message via the Contact Me page with details such as the name of the novel, a brief synopsis of the novel, the material/link to the chapter you want me to translate, and the deadline if you want it before 1 week. Alternatively, you can also contact me through email at liliesareflowers@gmail.com and you can send me the file, if any.
Should I accept the commission, payment has to be made upfront, through Ko-fi, before I start working on it. Please do leave a message that it is a commission for (name of book). I will send you an email with confirmation that I have received the payment and the deadline (note that it'll be in GMT+8) by which I have to give you the translation. When I'm done with the chapter, I will mail the document to you.
Failure to deliver the translation within the stipulated time means that I would have to give you a full refund. However, the transaction cannot be cancelled once 24 hrs have elapsed since payment has been made for the job.
