I Want Your Body Not Your Heart Chapter 1

Chapter 1

Grand Duke's Residence, the night of the wedding[1]

Hsiao Tuo, the young Grand Duke, happily took the third son of the Minister of Revenue as his consort.

Previously, during a banquet at the palace, he started having dirty thoughts the moment he laid his eyes on the other man. After the banquet, he dreamt of that aloof beauty in white for several nights in a row. In his dream, he would bully that clean and cool beauty to the point of tears, frowning while biting down on his lips. Now that such a wish is fulfilled, Hmph. How could he let it escape?

Hsiao Tuo waved away the people serving in the room and personally lifted the crimson veil on the beauty's head. When Gu Qingge raised his eyes, he was greeted with the sight of Hsiao Tuo looking at him with a smirk as he said lustfully, "Beauty, from now on you are mine."

Gu Qingge's cold eyes were calm and unresponsive. Hsiao Tuo didn't get mad at the lack of response. After all, no man would willingly marry him, not to mention that he had privately heard that this Gu Qingge and the young general of the Yang Family were very close.

Tonight was his wedding night, and apparently, that Yang Zheng went to the restaurant to drink away his sorrows. But what has this got to do with him? All the young Grand Duke, Hsiao Tuo liked was Beauty Gu's face, and of course his body. Why would a brute like him care about other people's heart? Even if there were seventeen or eighteen men in the beauty's heart, the only person who could "ruin" the beauty was him, Hsiao Tuo.

Thinking of this, the smile on Hsiao Tuo's face became even bigger. He sat on the side of the bed and pulled his consort towards him by the shoulders, leaning in to kiss Gu Qingge's lips. The other party was docile and did not resist. He kissed some more before prying open the other party's teeth and diving straight in, rolling the tip of his tongue and teasing slowly. His hands were busy too, stroking the beauty's shoulders and back, touching that sexy shoulder bone[2] and slightly arched back. As he stirred the other party to the point of frowning, unable to withstand, with his tongue, he pulled open the lapel of the wedding dress with a jerk to reveal a delectable collarbone. That's when Gu Qingge pushed him.

Hsiao Tuo generously let go of the other person's lips and admired the view. With just a bit of bullying, the other party's lips were already glistening red, face flushed, and his clothes dishevelled. Hsiao Tuo chuckled under his breath. "What's the matter? Thinking of resisting now?"

"Qingge dare not." Gu Qingge lowered his eyes, gently adjusting the lapel to cover his right shoulder, as he calmly reminded, "Your Highness, we have yet to exchange nuptial wine[3]"

The corners of Hsiao Tuo's mouth raised into a smile as he got up and picked up the nuptial wine from the side. He then took a sip by himself before pushing Gu Qingge's head towards him and passed some of the wine in his mouth to the other party. Gu Qingge was caught off guard and choked and coughed as soon as he was released. Hsiao Tuo didn't wait for Gu Qingge to finish coughing; he took off his robe and pounced on him. Noticing that Gu Qingge was a little stiff in his arms, his heart was full of pleasure, as he teased, "Beauty, now you don't have any more excuses to use. Oh right, you're my Grand Duchess from now on. I can't use the same terms for those wildflowers and wild grass[4] to call you, don't you think? My… Qingge?"

Gu Qingge closed his eyes and remained silent.

1. Written as "洞房花烛夜" which directly translates to "candle-lit night in the bridal chamber"
2. I must say that it's a bit more poetic in Chinese cause it's written as like "butterfly bone"
3. Jiao bei jiu (Chinese: 交杯酒; lit. 'cross-cupped wine'), also known as He jin (Chinese: 合卺; pinyin: héjǐn; lit. 'to join nuptial wine cup') in ancient times, is a traditional Chinese nuptial ceremonial rite where newlywed couples interlinking and crossing their arms to sip jiu (Chinese: 酒; lit. 'wine') from two separated cups to their future marital happiness, to promise their lifelong love and to make the vows of no separation. You can wiki jiaobeijiu for more information
4. Because wife is like a houseplant so the wildflowers is a metaphor for a woman whom a man plays with outside of his wife.

Whooo a new novel even though I'm not done translating my other project ( •̯́ ^ •̯̀) But hey, this one is JUICY :>

Anyways, if you're someone familiar with Chinese novels with ancient China setting, then you might know the term "Wangye" and "Wangfei". "Wangye" typically refers to princes, which could be sons of the current emperor, brothers of the current emperor, and uncles to the emperor. In this story, the "Wangye" is the brother of the emperor. But because I feel that translating as "Prince" doesn't really express the term very well and may be confused as the son of the current emperor, so after some research, I settled for Grand Duke. Since "Wangfei" refers to the wife, so I translated it accordingly as Grand Duchess

But whatever, this is just smut so ( ๑‾̀◡‾́)(‾̀◡‾́ ๑) hehe Also, since this is a mature story, the subsequent chapters with smexy scenes will be password-locked

Please feedback to me in the comments below if you find any typos or terrible grammar, etc that you think I should change. Or maybe you think my interpretation is completely off lol Help me help you have a better reading experience ahahah what a tongue twister XD
